We use industrial-grade YKK zippers and install them by hand. About 2% of pairs ever come back for a zipper repair — and when they do, we fix them.
Even though it's rare, if the zipper ever fails — pull breaks off, teeth separate, slider stops working, stitching comes loose at the install — we repair it. You ship to us, we ship back on us. Repairs take about two weeks.
The only catch: if a pair comes back too worn for a clean repair, we'll tell you up front and offer a discount on a fresh pair instead.
As long as the shoe itself lasts. The zipper is built to outlast the rubber sole. If you wear them out, you wear them out the same way you'd wear out any pair of shoes.
Yes — and the zipper is what makes it possible. The side opening lets you get the brace in without fighting the shoe. We recommend ordering 1-2 sizes up if your brace is on the bulkier side.

Order your normal size in that brand. We don't modify the fit — a Zipped Nike Dunk fits the same as a regular Nike Dunk. If you wear a size 9 in Nikes, order a size 9.

We don't keep a warehouse of pre-modified shoes. When you order, we source your size, install the zipper by hand, and ship it out. Every pair is built for the person who ordered it.
