Every pair is an authentic Nike — sourced new, modified by hand, and shipped to you. The zipper is industrial-grade and made to last.
The price covers the shoe itself plus the zipper modification. Each pair is made to order — we source your size, do the work, and send it out.
Sizing & Fit
No braces? Order your normal size in that brand. In between sizes? Size up to the next size.
Wearing AFOs? Go up 1.5 to 2 sizes from your normal size, depending on how bulky the brace is.
Wearing SMOs? Go up a full size.
Not sure? Send us measurements of your foot with the brace on, and we'll recommend a size before you order.

How long until my shoes ship?
Every pair is made to order. We source your shoe, install the zipper by hand, then send it out — about four weeks. Need them sooner? Our rush option gets them out in about two. Nothing sits pre-made on a shelf, so the wait is real work happening on your pair.
Where does the zipper go?
On the inside of each shoe — the side that faces in — so it stays hidden and the shoe looks untouched from the outside. Open it, step in, zip up.
What size should I order?
No braces? Order your normal size in that brand.
In between sizes? Size up to the next size.
Wearing AFOs or SMOs? Go up a full size to two sizes depending on how bulky the brace is.

I recently received my customized Doc Martens and Chuck Taylor’s, and I am ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED! The quality is everything I hoped for and more. The craftsmanship is fantastic, the finished boots look badass, and Aaron has been wonderful to work with.
I’m a survivor of a high speed, head on collision. My right ankle had to be fused to avoid amputation. My left ankle will be undergoing the same fusion surgery after reconstructive surgery failed.

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: THE WEIGHT. 🤣 These boots have some serious substance to them! But just imagine how protected my fragile feet are inside them! They are like Fort Knox for my feet. 🤣 My feet are still adjusting to carrying around what feels like two small anvils, but we’re negotiating. They’ll either build character or file a formal complaint with management. I’m banking on them getting with the program. 👢💀😂

I bought these for my Quad husband. It is so hard for me to get his foot into shoes and the zipper is excellent. We recently bought a different brand with a zipper and they’re great but not stylish like these. So glad you guys put zippers in normal shoes and you don’t have to compromise style for ease.
